The company has established an engineering center equipped with modern R&D testing equipment and office facilities which comprises three departments: technology development, mold research & development, and product testing.
The Engineering Center leads a R & D team consisting of nearly 100 staff, developing over 80 new products annually. From the preliminary evaluation of product introduction, to the design and development of products and molds, as well as mold manufacturing and product production, each process is guided by professional engineering and technical staff. The mold department is equipped with more than 20 sets of high-precision mold processing equipment, such as CNC milling machines, EDM, WEDM, die spotting press machines, etc. Realize automatic and semi-automatic data processing in the manufacturing process of mold parts. The R & D investment in 2024 has exceeded 10 million yuan.
Over the past three years, the engineering center has successfully developed 8 series of products, including "Smart Pre-insulated Transformer Connector", "Mechanical Lug", "MV Cold Shrinkable Accessories". The comprehensive index of products has reached the domestic advanced level. Currently, nearly 1,000 copies of third-party type test reports have been obtained from well-known foreign laboratories such as KEMA, SIRIM, ITEN, EPORT, COFRAC, ETS, etc. Up to now, The company holds 41 valid domestic patents, including 10 invention patents, 24 utility model patents, 7 appearance patents, and 6 copyrights.
In the future 5-10 years, the engineering center will adhere to the market demand, develop new products in accordance with international standards, fully leverage the company's product and personnel advantages, improve and perfect the product structure, and continuously optimize the complete solution for 1-35kV transmission and distribution line connection, aiming to make the company an important domestic base for the design, production, sales, and export of cable lugs & connectors for power transmission and distribution, wind power and photovoltaic, and other cable accessories.
